Tax collection, Military and land acquisition

    Explanation:

The European rulers in their bid to centralize power and control the nobles in areas/regions where they wanted to govern they enforced Tax collection on merchants who were trading withe region and that way hey were able to raise funds for creating and maintain a very strong army that they would use to force the Nobles into submitting to a central authority. also the continuous acquisition of lands by the European meant they started controlling a very vast area and would then be able to control the nobles and ultimately centralize power. they created a royal justice system to undermine the church courts and also the king declared that the church was under the king.

Tax Collection, Military Might, Land acquisition

    Explanation:

The European rulers with the use of popular support, would get the nobles to fight themselves. they had power by controlling taxes being paid by merchants that allowed them to have a bigger army. they also acquired larger lands for themselves and made some bureaucracies to keep the nobles in check. with time as communication got a lot better it became possible for people to see one person or man as their leader.
