What might happen if the governor and legislature do not agree on legislative priorities?

    Answer: Most Supreme Court rulings come from legislation that goes against the state constitution. The Legislature can rewrite the legislation to comply with what the court said. Example: Court says that a law is unconstitutional because it discriminates against women. Rewrite law to apply to everyone.
