Description of the Aztecs and their relationship with the Spanish

Aztecs were a dominant civilization in central America and had a large empire. Unfortunately for them, they were met by Spanish conquistadors that had superb technology and organization for that time and the Spaniards defeated them, conquering their cities and more or less destroying them completely.
