Racial segregation has strongly been weakened despite widespread cultural diversity. The elections is even evidenced in the election of the first african American president. it is probable to argue that the nation has become more inclusive. However, the USA has become more homogeneous as a result of influx of American nationalism that seeks to limit immigrants into the nation. It has also become harder to gain citizenship, and immigrant oppression cases have been on the rise, thus exclusivity.
