A sack holds 6 red delicious apples and 9 honey crisp apples. An apple is pulled out of the sack at random and then placed back in the sack. How many times can you expect that a red delicious apple will be pulled out of the sack in 80 tries? A. 28 B. 32 C. 40 D. 53

    6 red and 9 honey:

    Total = 6 + 9 = 15.

    Probability of picking red = Number of red / Total = 6/15 = 2/5

    So if we have 80 tries, number of red = Probability of red * Number of tries

    = 2/5 * 80 = 32

    I think is 53, but I am not sure. what I did was,

    9*9-1=53.
