    2x=x^2 + 4. Make it equal to zero. so subtract the 2x from the otherside, making it - 0 = - 2x + x^2 + 4. Then factor. find multiples of 4, that when added equal negative 2. Since there aren't any multiples that work use the quadratic equation.
