Equation B: 4v+12y=736

From B: y = (736-4x) / 12

Substitute y to Equation A:

14x+2[ (736-4x) / 12]=296

14x + (1472/12) - (8x/12) = 296

14x - (8x/12) = 296 - (1472/12)
