First we consider the following:
(1) a 100% increase on $50, means an increase of 1 * 50 = $50.
(2) a 25 % increase on $50, means an increase of 0.25 * 50 = $12.50
Finally, and 125% increase means an increase of 1.25 * 50 = 62.5
> The new price will be 50 + 62.5 = $ 112.5
