A large box contains 11 smaller boxes of raisins. The price of the large box is $2.75. Each of the smaller boxes of raisins costs the same amount. Which could be used to find d d, the price of a smaller box?

    Given that large box that contain 11 small boxes costs $2.75. The price, d, f small box will be given by:

    d = (Cost of large box) / (Number of small boxes)

    Cost of large box=$2.75

    Number of small boxes=11

    hence

    d=2.75/11

    Hence the answer is d=2.75/11

    this could be simplified further to obtain:

    d=0.25
