    By definition, the weight is given by

    F = m * g

    Where,

    m = mass

    g = gravity.

    Clearing then the mass:

    m = F / g

    Substituting the values:

    m = (300) / (9.81)

    m = 30.58 Kg

    answer:

    A grocery bag can safely hold 30.58 Kg of apples before it rips apart
