How do I solve? - 44=-12+8n

    You could add twelve to - 12 which would cancel it out. then add twelve to - 44 which would give you - 32=8n.

    then divide 8n by 8n which cancels it out, then divided - 32 by 8n which gives you - 4.

    You have to do like draw a number line and do the opposite and you'll get your answer and add them together and you'll get 45.5
