You need 10 carrots and 5 potatoes. IF you take 6 and divide it by 2 you get 3. Next you need to also divide 4 and 2 by 2. You get 2 carrots and 1 potato for 3 servings. Multiply 3 by 5 and you get 15 servings. Also multiply 2 and 1 by 5. This is how you get 10 carrots and 5 potatoes.
