Since the total of 6 equal sides is 30, each side is 30/6=5 inches.

Since the figure is dilated by 3/5, each side is multiplied by 3/5.

    5*3/5=3

Each side of the new figure is 3 inches.

Since there are 6 sides, the new perimeter is 3*6=18 inches

    Good luck!

    P. S. I just realized you could have just multiplied the 30 inches by 3/5 since it's perimeter. That's a way easier and efficient way to do these problems!
