    The standard form of an equation is Ax + By = C. In this kind of equation, x and y are variables and A, B, and C are integers. We rewrite it as follows:

    3x = 12 - 2y

    3x + 2y = 12 - 2y + 2y

    3x + 2y = 12

    Where A = 3, B = 2 and C = 12

    Y=mx+b / / standard form

    3x=12-2y

    2y=-3x+12

    y=-3/2x+12/2

    y=-3/2x+6

    So the answer is: y = - 3/2x+6
