first, find the number in the hundred thousand place ... it is the 5 ... now look at the number directly to the right of it ...
if that number is 5 or above, ur 5 gets rounded up to a 6
if that number is 4 or below, ur 5 stays the same
so the number to the right of 5 is 6 ... it is greater then 5, so u round ur 5 up to a 6 ... and ur answer is 600,000 <==
because 567,433 is closer to 600,000 then it is to 500,000
