    W + y = 30 ... w = 30 - y

    11.95w + 12.50y = 364.55

    11.95 (30 - y) + 12.50y = 364.55

    358.50 - 11.95y + 12.50y = 364.55

    -11.95y + 12.50y = 364.55 - 358.50

    0.55y = 6.05

    y = 6.05 / 0.55

    y = 11 < = = = there were 11 yellow sweatshirts sold

    w + y = 30

    w + 11 = 30

    w = 30 - 11

    w = 19 < = = = there were 19 white sweatshirts sold
