If the side of a cube is 5xy centimeters in length, what is the volume of the cube?

    The formula for the volume of a cube is V = a³ when a = the length of one side.

    So, if we say a = 5xy, then ...

    V = (5xy) ³

    V = 125x³y³

    The volume of the cube is 125x³y³ centimeters³
