At norma's discount superstore, all sweaters are on sale for 20% off the regular price.

part A: Damien has a coupon for an additional 20% off the discounted price. How much will he pay for a sweater that regularly cost $45?

Part B:The following week, all sweaters are put on clearance at 40% off the regular price. Would Damien get a better deal by waiting for this sale? Justify your response.

    Part A: If you take off 40% in total from $45 it will equal to $27.

    Part B: No, Since clearance is basically the same thing. It would be the same as before so Damien would get it for the same amount of money off, It would still be $27.
