    F (x) = (2x) ^2 Find f (-4)

this is a function notation, if you have f (-4) you need to fill the in to (X) on the left had side.

So F (x) = ((2 (-4)) ^2, Multiply what is in side the () and that is-12 (postive x negiavtive is negative), Then we need to square that and it 144. so the answer is F (-4) = 144
