Paige was counting her change. she counted six pennies and two times as many dimes as pennies. she also counted three nickels and forty times as many quarters as nickels. How much money did Paige have. Explain how you got your answer.

    d=12 or 2*p - value. 1

    n=3 - value. 05

    q=12 or 4*n - value. 25

    Multiply each denomination's value by how many she had.

    (6*.01) + (12*.1) + (3*.05) + (12*.25)

    .06+1.20+.15+3.00
