Colin was given the inequality x-4.2>5.5 to solve. He said the solution set was x> 1.3. describe colins error and give the correct solution set in your explanation.

    x-4.2>5.5 = 9.7 Collin forgot to change his negative to a positive when adding + 4.2 + 4.2 the inequality. He was supposed to change the negative to positive add 4.2 to 5.5 which would give him a positive 9.2
