If Tweet ate x pears, then Pete ate 3x pears and Honk ate x+5 pears.

That's a total of 5x+5 pears

5x+5 = 25

5x = 20

x = 4

But remember, we need to find the number of pears that Honk ate!

X+5 = 4+5 = 9 pears!
