Brody found a rare, one-of-a-kind character card in his new deck. The card is valued at $24.95. Every year, the card's value increases by $2.64. He plans to sell the card after 25 years with the hopes of making at least $100. Is this a viable option?

A - Yes, because 25 (24.95 + 2.64) ≥ 100.

B - No, because 24.95 + 2.64 + 25 < 100.

C - Yes, because 25 (2.64) + 24.95 (2.64) ≥ 100.

D - No, because 24.95 + 2.64 (25) < 100.

The answer is D. because after the 25 years the value increases by 66$ which makes the card valued at 90.95 once you add the original value. Thus making the card less than 100$

    D.

    24.95 + 2.64 (25)

    24.95 + 66

    90.65

    90.65 < 100

    so it is D
