How do I convert from scientific notation to standard form using 9.418x10^-5?

    Start from 9.418 and move the decimal 5 places to the left, since it is a negative 5. The negative indicates that you will be going backwards to make a decimal. So what you can do is draw where the places would be and then fill them in with zeroes. or you can take it back one, so then it'd be. 9418x10^-4 and then just add in the four zeros between the decimal and 9
