    360 degrees=1 circle so

    the fraction it is is 60 oout of 360 or 60/360=1/6 of the circumference

    c=2pir

    c=2pi6

    c=12pi

    so

    the arc length is 1/6 of 12pi or 12pi/6 or 2pi units is the arc length
