7/8 pounds of gravy dog treat

    Step-by-step explanation:

The total amount of food in the bag would be sum of both weights. So the total amount is 24 pounds.

The proportion of the gravy dog treat is the weight of the bag divided by the total weight, so we get 14/24 or 7/12.

Since each bag weights 1 1/2 pounds, you just have to multiply the weight by the proportion

    1 1/2 * 7/12

    3/2 * 7/12

    21/24

    7/8

So there would be 7/8 pounds of gravy dog treat.
