    Given the data below, the total length or amount of decorative trim can be calculated. It can be said that the total length of decorative trim is equal to the total perimeter of the two walls, the window, and the door, minus the base of the door.

    Wall 1 = 2 (8) + 2 (18) = 52 ft.

    Wall 2 = 2 (8) + 2 (15) = 46 ft.

    Window = 2 (3) + 2 (6) = 18 ft.

    Door = 2 (7) + 5 = 19 ft.

    Total length = 52+46+18+19 = 135 ft. of decorative trim
