Answer: f·g (x) = 12x³ - 6x² - 10x + 5
fog (x) = 24x² - 24x + 1
Step-by-step explanation:
f (x) = 6x² - 5 g (x) = 2x - 1
f·g (x) = (6x² - 5) (2x - 1)
= 6x² (2x - 1) - 5 (2x - 1)
= 12x³ - 6x² - 10x + 5
fog (x) = f (2x-1)
= 6 (2x - 1) ² - 5
=6 (4x² - 4x + 1) - 5
= 24x² - 25x + 6 - 5
= 24x² - 25x + 1
I wasn't sure if you wanted multiplication or composition so I solved both.
