    The answer to your question is: 8.8 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Data

    total area = 3000 cm²

    height = 50 cm

    radius = ?

    Formula

    Total area = lateral area + base area = 2πrh + πr²

    3000 = 2 (3.1416) (50) r + (3.1416) r²

    3000 = 314.16r + 3.1416r² = 3.1416r² + 314.16r - 3000 = 0

    Solve the equation with the quadratic formula

    r1 = 8.77 r 2 = - 108.78 (this answer is incorrect because is negative)
