    Total amount of pizzas: 6

Total gallons of root beer: 4

    Step-by-step explanation:

In 18 hours this is what each one of them could make. (Assuming that none of them can make pizza and brew at the same time)

Pat takes 6h to brew one gallon and make one pizza. So, 18h divided by 6, gives us a total of 3 gallons of beer and 3 pizzas.

Kris takes 10h to brew one gallon and make one pizza. So, 18h divided by 10 gives us 1 and 8h left that Kris could use to make another 2 pizzas. The total for Kris would be 1 gallons of beer and 3 pizzas.

    Combined, the totals are:

4 gallons of root beer (3 Pat and 1 Kris) and 6 pizzas (3 each).
