    Letter C

    Step-by-step explanation:

To have a representative sample, we must take a random sample with the desired degree of specificity. These conditions are not represented in option A since all grades in the school could be drawn and this option still limits only boys. In option B, we don't know if the school band is made up of 6th-grade students. And finally, option D cannot guarantee that the 20 friends in the neighborhood are 6th-grade students.

So it remains option C, which takes 50 students from just the sample we want, 6th graders.

The answer could be c because it specifies on who kareem is looking for which is sixth graders and c is the only answer that has anything to do with 6th graders.
