in a store parking lot, the ration of blue cars to silver cars is 2:3. cthere are 24 blue cars. how many silver cars are in the lot?

    There would be 36 silver cars in the lot. When 24 is divided by 2, the number of blue cars in the ratio, you get 12 which is also the number to be multiplied by 3 to get silver cars. 12x3 = 36
