    We can write an equation to resemble the question (h = the number of hours Mofer rents the bike).

    15 + 7h = 29

    ~Subtract 15 to both sides

    15 - 15 + 7h = 29 - 15

    ~Simplify

    7h = 14

    ~Divide 7 to both sides

    7h/7 = 14/7

    ~Simplify

    h = 2

    Therefore, Mofer rented the bike for 2 hours.

    First subtract 15 from 29.

    29 - 15 = 14

    Now divide 14 by 7, the amount of dollars per hour.

    14 : 7 = 2

    Mofer rented the bike for 2 hours, resulting in him paying $15 for the rent, and an additional $14 for the two hours, totalling in $29.
