    Width = 5 cm

    Length = 7 cm

    Step-by-step explanation:

    Width = w

    Length = 2w - 3

    Perimeter = 24 cm

    2 * (length + width) = 24

    2 * (2w-3 + w) = 24

    2 * (3w - 3) = 24

    3w - 3 = 24/2

    3w - 3 = 12

    3w = 12 + 3

    3w = 15

    w = 15/3

    w = 5cm

    Length = 2w - 3 = 2*5 - 3 = 10-3 = 7 cm

    length = 7 cm
