    After Alex fill's the jug, the remaining volume of water will be 4 gallons

    1 gallon is equivalent to 231 cubic inches

    The volume of a cylinder is given by

    V = πr²h

    4 x 231 = π x 4² x h

    h = 181.4 inches or 15.1 feet
