    To find the area of a triangle, the following formula is used

    Area of ∆=1/2 * (base*height)

    let me tell you that the above formula is only valid for right angled triangles.

    Assuming that the given triangle is a right angled triangle, we have

    ar (∆) = 1/2 * (14*7)

    =98/2

    =49 square ft
