Based on visual inspection, the group which is most likely to have a lower mean age of salsa students is:

    Group A

    Step-by-step explanation:

We may construct a frequency table of Group A as follows:

    Age Frequency

    5 3

    10 4

    17 6

    24 4

    28 3

Age of 20 students were recorded in group A.

    Group B:

    Age Frequency

    7 6

    10 3

    14 4

    17 5

    22 2

Age of 20 students were recorded in Group B.

As we could see that the students in group A are of more age as compared to those in Group B.

Hence, the mean age of students in Group A will be more since the mean is calculated as the ratio of the addition of ages of all students to the number of students.

(As denominator of both is same i. e. 20.

But the numerator of Group A is more due to higher age)
