A school band has a brass section of trumpet, trombone, and tuba players. There are twice as many trombones as tubes, and half as many trombones as trumpets. if there are two tubas in the band, what is the total number of players in the brass section?

    I believe there are 14 players.

    I know that twice as many trombones and tubas would be 4. But the half as many trombones as trumpets makes me believe there is 8. I'm not exactly sure though. Adding 2 tubas, 4 trombones and 8 trumpets gives you 14 players in the brass section.

    I apologize if this isn't right.
