For all values of x, which expression is equivalent to 4 (5x + 3) - 4x?

12x + 12

16x + 12

    4 (5x + 3) - 4x

    4*5x = 20x

    4 * 3 = 12

    20x and 4x are like terms, so 20x - 4x=16x

    12 doesn't have anything to go with, so it just stays

    16x + 12 (B is the correct answer)
