    vB be the volume of prism B

    vA = Base area of A * Ha

    vB = Base area of B * Hb

    If The volume of prism A is half the volume of prism B then vA = 1/2 VB

    BaHa = (BbHb) / 2

    Given Base area of A = 40in² and Ha = Hb then we have:

    40Ha = BbHa/2

    40 = Bb/2

    Bb = 2*40

    Bb = 80in²

    This shows that the base area of prism B is 80in²
