Gale builds a circular pen in his yard for his dog. The pen has a radius of 10 ft. There is a law in Gale's town which states that all dogs must have at least 300 ft2 of room in their pen. Does Gales' pen meet the standards?

    Area of circle=pi times r^2

    r=10

    subsitut eans solve

    area=pi times 10^2

    area=pi times 100

    if we aprox pi to 3.14 then

    area=3.14 times 100

    area=314

    we can see that this is answer C
