    The slope would be 4/2. If you graph it, it is rise over run.

    The slope is the change in Y over the change in X.

    The first number in each set of parenthesis is the X value and the second number is the Y value.

    Change in Y = 5 - 1 = 4

    Change in X = 4 - 2 = 2

    Slope = 4/2 = 2
