    If the budget was $177 over that means that the original budget was $1300 (which represents 100%).

    1% of the 1300 budget is $13

    Than the over budget of $177 is divided by 13 to find out the percentage.

    177:13 = 13,61%

    Round up and we have a 14% over budget expenses
