Find q if p = - 1/2 and the quotient pq = - 3.

    Explanation: 6*-1/2=-3

    pq = - 3

    We know p = - 1/2 so we can substitute it in

    -1/2 q = - 3

    Multiply each side by - 2 to isolate q

    -2*-1/2 q = - 2 * -3

    q = 6
