A recipie calls for 2 2/4 cups of raisins, but julie only has a 1/4 cup measuring cup. How many 1/4 cups does julie need to measure out of 2 2/4 cups of raisins?

    She needs 10 one fourth cups because 1=4/4. So 2=8/4 and 2/4+8/4=10 which means that she needs to use her cup 10 times.
