A human adult takes about 16 breaths in 60 seconds. A puppy takes about 8 breaths in about 15 seconds. Are these rates equivalent?

    I solved this question by dividing 16 into 60 to figure out how many breaths an adult takes in 1 second, and then doing the same for the puppy.

    16/60 =.2667

    8/15 =.5333

    Since these numbers are not the same, the rates are not equivalent.
