So c = 0.75 p because it is 0.75 per pound (if you don't get this bit try substituting in values for c and p ie c = 0.75 and p = 1)

Part a:

p = 2

c = 0.75 * 2 = 1.5$

Part b:

0.75-0.05 = 0.7 per pound

c = 0.7 p
