Order - 3,5,16 and - 10 from least to greater. then order the same numbers from closest to zero to farthest from zero. Describe how your lists are similar. would this be true if the numbers were - 3,5,-16 and - 10?

    From the least to the greatest:

    -10, - 3, 5, 16

    From the closest to the farthest from zero:

    -3, 5, - 10, 16

    The difference is that in the second set a positive or negative of the number is not important. The list would look exactly the same if all numbers were positive or negative:

    3, 5, 10, 16

    -3, - 5, - 10, - 16
