    An angle bisector divides the angle into two angles with equal measures

    ∠RSV=∠VST = (3x + 5) °

    ∠RST=∠RSV+∠VST

    ∠RST = (8x - 14) °

    (3x + 5) ° + (3x + 5) ° = (8x - 14) °3x+3x+5+5=8x-14

    6x+10=8x-14

    8x-6x = 10+14

    2x=24

    x=24/2

    x=12
