1: To solve - 9 - 16m = 7, what steps would you use?

2: To solve - 3 = - 19 +, what steps would you use?

    -for # 1 I would add 9 to both sides to get 16 so m = 1

    for # 2 I would subtract 19 - 3 to get 16. - 3=-19 + 16

    1. First add 9 to both sides, then divide by negative 16. M = - 1

    2. I don't know what's being added to - 19, i'm assuming it's X. just add 19 to both sides you'll get that X=16
